New Delhi, March 01 (Hindustan Reporter) Many changes have taken place on the 1st of March, the last month of the current financial year 2023-24. The government has made changes in Fastag KYC and GST rules. Meanwhile, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 25.50. There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. The new rates have come into effect from Friday.
According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has now increased to Rs 1795. Earlier it was available for Rs 1769.50. Its price in Kolkata has increased by Rs 24 to Rs 1911 per cylinder. In Mumbai, this cylinder will become costlier by Rs 25.50 and will be available for Rs 1749. Its price in Chennai has increased by 23.50 to Rs 1960.50. However, due to no change in the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder, it is currently available at Rs 903 in Delhi, Rs 908 in Bhopal and Rs 906 in Jaipur.
It is noteworthy that the government had fixed February 29 as the deadline for completing the KYC done by Fastag. In such a situation, those who have not completed their KYC, their Fastag will be blacklisted (deactivated) and they may have to pay double toll tax. Apart from this, major changes have been made in the rules of GST. Now traders with turnover of more than Rs 5 crore will not be able to generate e-way bill without e-invoice.
