An important meeting of the state presidents and chairmen of all the frontal departments and cells of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee was held at the headquarters on Sunday under the chairmanship of state president Ajay Rai. In the meeting, Ajay Rai said that all of us should aim to strengthen the organization and this is possible only when we work in harmony with each other. People's trust in our leader Rahul Gandhi has increased. We all should take advantage of this.

He said that all of you should go to the districts and ensure your participation in the programs being held there. The cases of atrocities against women should be raised prominently. The issues of inflation and unemployment should be raised through street plays. Today the public is looking towards you. We should take advantage of this. If we miss it now, then the time will slip out of our hands and the public will not be able to forgive you for this.

In the meeting, a detailed review was also done of the number of saplings planted till date by the officials of the frontal departments and cells under the Rajiv Gandhi plantation campaign started by the Congress party especially on the birthday of Rahul Gandhi.

In the meeting, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee Media Department Chairman, former Minister Dr. C.P. Rai, Seva Dal Chief Organiser Dr. Pramod Kumar Pandey, Rajesh Singh Kali, Women Congress Central Zone President Mamta Chaudhary, Scheduled Caste Department State President Alok Prasad, Central Zone President Tanuj Punia etc. gave their suggestions.
