Jaipur, August 4 (HS). A case of cheating a youth of Rs 5 lakh in the name of getting him a government job in the Municipal Corporation has come to light. The victim has lodged a case in Vidhayakpuri police station regarding the incident.
Investigating officer Head Constable Muzaffar Khan said that Vivek Mathur, a resident of Indira Gandhi Nagar, lodged a case that Raja Mathur introduced himself as a government officer. The accused asked him for Rs 10 lakh in the name of getting him a government job in the Municipal Corporation. On this the victim gave Rs 5 lakh to the accused. Even after taking the money, the accused did not get him a government job. On this the victim reached the police station and registered a case. The police have registered the case and started investigation.
