Sirsa, August 4 (HS). Police has arrested Balkar alias Jaspreet alias Jassa son of Balveer resident of Balipur police station Mullanpur Dakha district Ludhiana Punjab, accused in the robbery case at Jindal Hospital in Dabwali city. 15 cases including attempt to murder, robbery, dacoity and theft are registered against the accused and in four cases the accused has been declared PO by the court.
In this regard, Assistant Sub Inspector Jagpal Singh, In-charge of Gol Bazar Police Outpost, said that on 22nd July, Renu Jindal, wife of late GD Jindal, Ward No. 3, Dabwali had lodged a complaint that four boys, who had come for work along with staff Ajay, attacked her on the upper floor of the hospital.
At gunpoint, they robbed four gold bangles, a chain and a ring and a bag containing around 15 lakh cash kept under the bed, and after locking him and his staff member Ajay, they fled after locking the door from outside. During investigation, with the help of CCTV footage and cyber cell, police collected evidence against the accused and arrested one accused Balkar alias Jaspreet alias Jassa. In this case two accused have already been arrested. Police have produced accused Balkar in court and taken him on three day police remand for questioning. Police said that other accused will also be arrested soon.
