Dehradun, 04 August (HS). BJP state spokesperson Bipin Kanthola accused Congress leaders of making empty statements about the disaster. He said that the Congress tour is for political gains and is only on social media. Their leaders ended their political tourism tour and instead of serving in the disaster affected areas, immediately disappeared from there.
On Sunday, he said that earlier Congress had taken out an issueless political yatra in the name of Baba Kedarnath. Even then they had nothing concrete to say and even today their leaders are making empty statements. He said that Congress and its leaders look for political opportunities in disasters, whether it was the time of Corona epidemic, natural disaster or any other social problems. Kanthola said that there was a disaster in Rudraprayag and Congress leaders were busy with their so-called yatra. Their leaders went to the area where the disaster occurred with the so-called yatra. Similarly, by cancelling the yatra in Sitapur, their insensitive leaders have disappeared from there instead of serving the affected people. If the state president of Congress and its leaders were sensitive, they would have stayed there and helped the casualties, victims and affected like BJP workers. He said that medical camps have been set up by BJP workers with full sensitivity for the affected people there. Along with the administration, BJP workers are also taking care of their stay and food. Congress leaders are only busy finding political opportunities in the disaster.
