The corporation demolished the dilapidated unused water tank of Kachana High School campus

Raipur, 4 August (HS). On the instructions of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, the extremely dilapidated, dangerous and unusable water tank of Kachana High School campus under Zone 9 area was demolished today on Sunday morning. The tank was demolished using about 2 kg of gunpowder (dynamite).

The corporation says that the unusable water tank was demolished in view of the safety of the lives of the high school children, teachers, staff and citizens. There was a possibility of an unpleasant incident due to the extremely dilapidated and dangerous water tank in the school premises. On the request of the school management, as per the order of the Raipur District Collector and as per the instructions of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner, the team of Municipal Corporation Zone 9 demolished it today through drilling and blasting engineers.
