Giving good news to the passengers, the Railways has also started the trial run of Vande Metro between Chennai Beach and Katpadi Junction. It started on August 3. Vande Metro trains can replace MEMU trains.
According to the report of Deccan Chronicle, Vande Metro was prepared a few months ago in Integral Coach Factory. This entire train will be AC. The general top speed will be 130 km per hour. In that too, like Vande Bharat, the doors will open automatically and passengers will get more convenience than other trains.
Sources say that this trial run is taking place on Saturday between Chennai Beach and Katpadi Junction. However, it is not yet clear whether the country's first Vande Metro train will run between Chennai Beach and Katpadi station or on another route. About 100 passengers will be able to sit in one coach. Apart from this, 200 passengers can travel standing in it.
