Kolkata, August 03 (HS). A former temporary employee of Kolkata's Raj Bhavan on Saturday appealed to the authorities to allow her to take her documents from the office locker allotted to her during her service. This former employee had filed a complaint of sexual harassment against Governor CV Anand Bose with the police.
Raj Bhavan insiders said the woman has submitted the application to the communication office of the Governor's house. Sources said she had already collected her personal belongings from the staff quarters allotted to her during her service at the Raj Bhavan. Now she has made a fresh attempt to retrieve her documents, which are reportedly still in her office locker.
Sources said it has not yet been decided whether the former employee will be allowed to enter the Raj Bhavan premises. The legal aspects of the matter are being examined as a defamation case filed by the governor against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is pending in the Calcutta High Court.
