Gaza, March 01 (HS). Israeli security forces yesterday opened fire on a crowd that suddenly gathered near trucks carrying aid in Gaza City. At least 100 people were killed and about 700 were injured in this firing. American newspaper The New York Times gave this information in its report quoting the Palestinian Authority news agency and an Israeli official.
According to the report, all this happened suddenly. Gaza health officials said more than 100 people were killed and more than 700 were injured in the “massacre.” Israeli tanks fired thousands of machine guns. This crowd was waiting for help to come. An Israeli official admitted that soldiers opened fire and that most of the people were killed or injured in the stampede.
The Israeli military said Gazans were surrounding aid trucks and looting supplies. On this development, a Hamas commander warned that this could derail the ceasefire talks. It is noteworthy that there is a war going on in Gaza between Israel and Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas since October 7. The death toll in Gaza has reached 30,000.
