300 people missing in Wayanad landslide; radar drones deployed to locate people

Death toll from Wayanad landslide: There has been massive destruction after the landslide in Wayanad. So far more than 354 people have died. About 300 people are still missing. Radar drones are now being used to locate people.

A radar drone has also been deployed as part of the rescue operation. Talking about the specialty of the drone, it hovers at a height of about 120 meters from the ground. And it measures 40 hectares of land at a time.

Search using phone location
More than 1300 soldiers have started rescuing people with the help of machines and modern equipment. Apart from this, rescue operations are being carried out using GPS, aerial photographs and cellphone location data. Army helicopters are also in operation.
