coconut oil
If the child gets rashes, apply coconut oil on them. Coconut oil contains saturated fats which keep the baby's skin soft and moisturized. It has many properties like antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial which help in getting rid of skin rashes. If the skin becomes dry, massage it well with coconut oil 2-3 times a day.
Curd
If your baby is getting rashes, apply some yogurt on the area. Yogurt has anti-inflammatory properties and probiotics that fight infection. Use it only when you are introducing solid food to your baby.
Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel is not only a good beauty product but its medicinal properties help in relieving irritation and inflammation. It cools the skin. Apply aloe vera gel on the affected area 2-3 times a day. This will kill the bacteria causing rashes.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal contains a compound called saponin, which removes dirt, grime and oil from the skin. It relieves inflammation and irritation. Add 1 teaspoon of dry oatmeal to the baby's bath water. Keep the baby in this water for 20 minutes and then wash it thoroughly.
