Raipur, 2 August (HS). A total of 26 thousand 513 applications have been received across the state in the first six days (27 July to 1 August) of the Jan Samasya Nivaran Pakhwada, which started from 27 July in all the urban bodies of the state. Out of these, 4442 applications were resolved on the spot and people's problems were resolved. Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister Arun Saw reviewed the Jan Samasya Nivaran Pakhwada on Friday through video conferencing. He has instructed all the commissioners, chief municipal officers and regional joint directors to resolve as many applications as possible on the spot.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saav has also given instructions to benefit the citizens with public welfare schemes in the Jan Samasya Nivaran camps organized ward-wise in all 184 urban bodies of the state. He has asked to prepare a data-base of the applications received in the camps, so that their continuous monitoring can be ensured. He has instructed senior departmental officers and all regional joint directors to conduct surprise inspections of the camp sites and check the quality of the facilities and arrangements being made available to the citizens there. He has also given instructions to identify the bodies where people's problems are not being resolved promptly and take strict action against those concerned.
A total of 243 applications related to cleanliness have been received in the first six days of the Jan Samasya Nivaran Pakhwada in the state, out of which 46 have been resolved immediately. Out of 1715 applications related to drinking water, 102 and out of 1447 applications related to lighting, 144 have been resolved on the spot. At the same time, 90 cases of road and drain repair and 103 cases related to housing have been resolved immediately. Beneficiaries have been benefited by providing immediate consent on 54 cases of social security pension. Quick action has also been taken on 983 ration card and 249 revenue cases. Health related and Ayushman card facilities have been made available to 1607 urban beneficiaries in the camps.
Out of 26 thousand 513 applications received in public problem resolution camps from 27 July to 1 August in all urban bodies, 4442 have been resolved on the spot. The remaining 22 thousand 071 applications have been divided category wise and a time limit has been given for their resolution.

On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Director of Urban Administration and Development Department Kundan Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the public problem resolution camps organized in Bhilai Municipal Corporation and Bhilai-Charoda Municipal Corporation on Friday. He asked the officials to examine the demands received through the camps and prepare a proposal and send it to the higher office. Along with providing the facility of payment of taxes to the taxpayers in the ward itself, Mr. Kumar also directed to make arrangements for wide publicity in the ward and the city regarding the organization of ward-wise camps.
