Jammu, August 2 (HS). Emphasising on the fundamental right to health, the Indian Army organised a medical camp at Government Girls High School, Daraba in Poonch district. Aimed at providing long-term health benefits and raising awareness about common illnesses, diseases, hygiene, nutrition and sanitation, the camp targeted underprivileged students to ensure their well-being.
The camp provided primary essential healthcare services including general health check-up and free distribution of medicines. The initiative was aimed at securing the health and future of young students through accessible healthcare services. The students expressed their gratitude for the care and attention they received during the camp. The event underlines the Indian Army's commitment to community welfare in this remote area south of the Pir Panjal Range highlighting their dedication to promote a healthy future for the nation.
