Dhamtari, August 2 (HS). The government has directed to enter the activities of the important Mid Day Meal Scheme through a mobile app every day, but this is not being followed in many schools. Taking action against 51 careless teachers of Dhamtari Block who did not make entries, their one day's salary has been deducted by the BEO office. This has created panic among these teachers. The BEO has warned of strict action if more negligence is shown in the future, so that the Mid Day Meal Scheme can be operated in a better manner.
District Education Officer TR Jagdalle is seen to be strict in improving the education system in the district. He is constantly inspecting schools and instructing teachers to improve the system. At the same time, he is keeping an eye on the time of arrival and departure of teachers. Similarly, BEO Dhamtari Amit Tiwari is also running the important government scheme of mid-day meal for students in a better way, but teachers of some schools are not serious about the implementation of the scheme. They are not seen following the orders of the government, action has been taken by tightening the noose on such teachers.
Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the central government. Its implementation is being done by the state government in primary and secondary schools for years. Under the scheme, nutritious lunch is fed to the students in the school. Daily entry of the benefited students is made in the mobile app. On this basis, the amount of cooking cost is being provided to the state government. Earlier, instructions were issued by the BEO office Dhamtari to make entries. Not only this, as soon as the session started, school teachers have been constantly encouraged to enter information through mobile app, yet 51 teachers of Dhamtari block, who are heads of institutions, have not entered the data of midday meal. Action has been taken to stop the salary of these careless teachers of Dhamtari block for one day for disobeying the instructions of the officials. This action has created panic among such teachers.
BEO Amit Tiwari said that the mid-day meal scheme is an important scheme to provide nutritious food to the students in the school. Its better operation will be possible only when correct information is received regularly. In such a situation, negligence of teachers in collecting information will not be tolerated. Action will also be taken in future against teachers who are negligent.
