Taking action against 51 careless teachers of Dhamtari Block who did not make entries, their one day's salary has been deducted by the BEO office. This has created panic among these teachers. The BEO has warned of strict action if more negligence is shown in the future, so that the Mid Day Meal Scheme can be operated in a better manner.

Under the scheme, nutritious lunch is fed to the students in the school. Earlier, instructions were issued by the BEO office Dhamtari to make entries. Not only this, as soon as the session started, school teachers have been constantly encouraged to enter information through mobile app, yet 51 teachers of Dhamtari block, who are heads of institutions, have not entered the data of midday meal. Action has been taken to stop the salary of these careless teachers of Dhamtari block for one day for disobeying the instructions of the officials. This action has created panic among such teachers.
BEO Amit Tiwari said that the mid-day meal scheme is an important scheme to provide nutritious food to the students in the school. Its better operation will be possible only when correct information is received regularly. In such a situation, negligence of teachers in collecting information will not be tolerated.
