300 poor families were given concrete houses in Champdani

Hooghly, 02 August (HS). Champdani Municipality in Hooghly district has provided concrete houses to 300 poor families at a very modest fee. In this sequence, Champdani Municipality Chairman Suresh Mishra went to Chandannagar Registry Office on Friday and registered the houses of nine beneficiaries.

Mishra said that there is a plan to provide concrete houses to 320 poor families in Champdani, in which 300 families have been provided concrete houses so far. Today nine families have been provided houses. A very nominal fee has been charged from the poor in exchange for providing houses. The remaining 20 families will be provided houses in the coming time. The beneficiaries were very happy with the type of houses provided by the Nagar Palika.
