Bihar, 2 August (HS) A public hearing was organized in the DM office cell on Friday. DM Dinesh Kumar Rai listened to the problems and complaints of the people one by one. Many problems and complaints were resolved on the spot in the public hearing. Also, in many cases, the concerned administrative and police officers were called and instructed to take appropriate action to solve the problems.
A total of 75 cases came up in the District Magistrate's Janta Darbar. The cases which could not be resolved today were sent to the concerned department/officers and directed to resolve them as per rules at a fast pace.
The District Magistrate has instructed all the officers of the district that during the District Magistrate's Janta Darbar program, all the officers will be present in the office along with their subordinates and will keep their mobile phones on so that any kind of instruction can be acted upon promptly. Along with this, he instructed that the block level officers must meet the public at least once a week, listen to their issues seriously and ensure that the problems are resolved as per the rules.
He directed that all the officers of the district will work promptly to resolve the problems/complaints of the people who came to the Janta Darbar. Along with this, the cases received from the Public Grievance Redressal Office, District Magistrate's Janta Darbar program, District Magistrate's Office, Honorable Chief Minister's Janta Darbar will be given top priority and legal action will be taken without delay. He said that it is often seen that the concerned officers are showing negligence, indifference and laxity in the prompt disposal of such cases. Such an act will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Along with this, strict action will definitely be taken against the officers and employees doing so.
