DIG Sunil Bhaskar said that fingerprints of criminals, convicted prisoners and chargesheeted criminals are being taken at the national level. The officials involved in the Police Duty Meet have also been informed about this. This is a system in which a database is being created at the national level. Whenever a criminal is arrested in the whole of India, as soon as his fingerprints are entered in the database, the information about his criminal history will be available to the police. The type of crime committed by him at any place in the whole country will be known in an instant.
