Gurpatwant Singh Pannun case: America is once again furious over Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. America said that it hopes that the Indian government will be held accountable for the ongoing investigation into Pannu's murder. The US State Department has made it clear that America will continue to raise its concerns with the Indian government at a high level. An investigation is underway in India regarding the attempt to murder Gurpatwant Pannu. America has accused India of getting Pannu killed through its agent.

We will continue to raise our concerns with India and the US.

“We continue to raise our concerns directly with the Indian government at the highest levels regarding the alleged role of an Indian government employee in a failed attempt to assassinate an American citizen on US soil,” State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said.

US Statement on Assassination Attempt in Canada

When Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel was asked about the assassination attempt on Gurpatwant Pannu in Canada as well, he said, “As per the information that has come from Canada, I would ask you to comment on that issue with the Canadian government. This incident took place under Canadian jurisdiction.”

India has declared Pannu a terrorist

Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta is accused of being involved in the alleged failed assassination plot of Gurpatwant Pannu. India has declared Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who supports Khalistan, a terrorist.

Pannu holds US as well as Canadian citizenship

The US Justice Department alleges that Nikhil Gupta, 52, is an accomplice of the Indian government and that he, along with others, helped plot the murder of Pannu in New York. Pannu holds US as well as Canadian citizenship.
