Mirzapur, 02 August (HS). Superintendent of Police Abhinandan suspended a sub-inspector, four head constables and two constables on receiving complaints of extortion and other serious complaints for not taking action in the case of assault that took place in Kachwan police station area a few days ago. He also ordered a departmental inquiry.
Recently, the Superintendent of Police suspended the beat inspector Sanjay Kumar and the head constable Durgesh Kumar Pandey for not taking effective action in the case of aerial firing in a land dispute in Kachwan police station area.
Apart from this, on receiving complaints of extortion and negligence in work by the policemen posted in the police stations, head constable Ziauddin posted in the city police station, constable Sunil Yadav, constable Anurag Yadav, head constable Indrajit Singh posted in the police line, head constable Piyush Kumar Mishra posted in the police line have also been suspended. Departmental inquiry has been ordered against all of them.
