Crime News: A married woman from Mansa was murdered by her lover in a hotel in Amritsar. The police have arrested the accused. The accused has been identified as Sukhchain Singh.
Balwinder Singh, resident of village Jhunir, district Mansa, told the police in his statement that Sukhchain Singh, resident of village Dhan Singh, has been doing welding work in my workshop for the last one year, due to which he has started trusting me. He has become more friendly with our family.
Taking advantage of this, Sukhchain had an illicit relationship with Balwinder Singh's wife. When Balwinder Singh came to know about this, he fired Sukhchain Singh from his job. Sukhchain Singh threatened Balwinder's wife and said that if she does not have a relationship with him, he will kill her son.
A week ago, Balwinder Singh's wife left home saying that she was going on a religious trip. On the morning of July 29, his wife called her son Gurpreet Singh and told him that Sukhchain Singh had brought her with him. Currently, she is at Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar.
Balwinder along with his brother-in-law Paramjit Singh and relatives reached Amritsar in search of his wife. There he found out that his wife's body was lying in MM Clark Hotel Katra Ahluwa near Khubbi Ram Halwai.
