Punjab News: A case of death of a youth due to drug overdose has come to light in Gurdaspur. It is being told that the dead body of the deceased was found in the cremation ground of the area. The family of the deceased said that someone in the area told them that their son Bunty was lying unconscious at the crematorium. When they reached there, they saw that there was an injection on his arm and his companions had fled from there. Then he picked up his brother and took him to a private hospital in Gurdaspur. Where the doctors declared him dead. The family says that their brother died due to drug overdose.
The family demands that strict legal action should be taken against the youth who took her with him and left her in a drunken state at the crematorium. Action should also be taken against those who sell drugs so that no child dies due to drugs in future. Regarding this matter, the in-charge of the city police station Gurmeet Singh said that he has not received any complaint regarding this matter. He said that as soon as the complaint is given by the family, the matter will be investigated on its basis.
