CID arrested a cyber criminal who cheated Rs 39.31 lakh from Dhanbad

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested a criminal from Dhanbad who committed cyber fraud of Rs 39 lakh 31 thousand 910 by luring people with ten times profit on Instagram. The name of the arrested cyber criminal is Mo Sameer Ansari. He is a resident of Ana Islampur, Dhanbad. The link of the bank account involved in the fraud case, SIM card and WhatsApp chat related to internet banking have been recovered.

Cyber ​​police station DSP Neha Bala said on Thursday that a case was registered in the cyber crime police station on July 25 by filing a written complaint that he was contacted through an advertisement on Instagram. Along with this, he was lured with ten times profit on investing. After this, the victim was asked to join the WhatsApp group to invest. After this, he was asked to get information about investment through WhatsApp's one to one group 8789606800-VIP133. He was lured to open his trading account in an app called AQR PRO and invest through it and multiply the principal amount by 10 times. During this time, a total of Rs 39,31,910 was defrauded by cyber criminals through illegal transfer. After investing through the link of the app sent on WhatsApp, the victim was asked to deposit money in different bank accounts.

The DSP said that during the investigation it was found that Rs 94,47,709 had been credited in the Punjab National Bank account number- 0230000109271609 in the name of Sameer Ansari in 10 days.
