Dehradun, 01 August (HS). Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi has directed the officials to complete all the necessary work related to the construction of Sainik Dham by 15 October. The minister said that Sainik Dham will become a place of inspiration for the youth of Veerbhoomi.
On Thursday, at the camp office, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi reviewed the progress of construction work with the officials of Sainik Welfare and the implementing agency regarding the construction of the military shrine. During this, he instructed the officials of the concerned implementing agency and departmental officials to expedite the construction work of the military shrine and complete the work by October 15 at any cost as per the instructions of the Chief Minister in the high-level committee meeting.
The Minister of Sainik Welfare also directed the officers to work in mutual coordination. The minister said that Uttarakhand is the land of heroes. He also directed the officers to pay special attention to the grandeur and divinity of the military shrine and to pay special attention to the quality of the material used in the construction work.
The minister said that the construction work of the Military Dham is going on at a fast pace. The construction work is almost in the final stage. He also instructed the officials to put pictures of all the martyrs in the museum of the Military Dham. The minister said that the Military Dham is being constructed after studying the memorials across the country. This Military Dham is the vision of Prime Minister Modi and the dream project of the state government.
He said that the temples of the two soldiers who are worshipped in the Indian Army, Baba Harbhajan Singh and Baba Jaswant Singh, are being constructed in the Military Dham. The main gate of the Military Dham is being built in the name of the country's first CDS and Uttarakhand's pride, late General Bipin Rawat.
The minister said that when this military shrine will be ready, just like the pilgrims from all over the country come to Uttarakhand to visit the four shrines, in the same way, people from all over the country and the world will come here to see the military shrine and it will also become a place of inspiration for the youth.
On this occasion, Secretary Sainik Welfare Dipendra Chaudhary, Director Brigadier Amrit Lal, Deputy Director Colonel MS Jodha and other officers were present.
