Nine accused found guilty in Meerut's famous triple murder case, verdict on punishment on August 5

Meerut, 01 August (HS). After 16 years, the court convicted nine accused including a girl in the famous triple murder case of Meerut. The court will debate on the punishment of these culprits on 05 August and the decision will be announced. In view of the decision in this case, police and PAC were deployed outside the court room as a precaution.

On Thursday, the court of Special Judge Pawan Shukla of Anti Corruption Court pronounced the verdict in the famous triple murder case. For this, police and PAC were deployed outside the court room. A cordon was made with rope. SOG, LIU, Dog Squad were also deployed. CO and Inspector were deployed at the gate. The court held nine accused guilty in this case including the young woman Sheeba Sirohi. Now on August 5, the court will debate on the punishment in this case and the verdict will be pronounced.

In Gudri Bazaar of Kotwali police station area, meat trader Haji Izlal along with Afzal, Wasim, Rizwan, Badruddin, Maharaj, Izhar, Abdul Rehman alias Kula, Devendra Ahuja etc. shot Sunil Dhaka, Puneet Giri and Sudhir Ujjwal dead. Before this, their eyes were gouged out and their throats were slit. After this, the bodies were left in a car on the banks of Hindon river in Baghpat. This case became a topic of discussion in the entire state along with Meerut. 14 people were made accused in this case. Among these, the main accused Haji Izlal was on bail. On Thursday, the court has convicted Sheeba Sirohi under sections 109 and 302. Izlal has been convicted under sections 302, 364, 304 and 325. The court has convicted the other accused under sections 302, 364, 304. While all the accused have been convicted of murder under sections 147, 148, 364, 302, 149, 201, 404. Chargesheet was filed against 14 people in this case. Two accused have died. One accused was released because he was a minor. The case of one accused is pending. The remaining 10 accused have been convicted. 33 witnesses testified in this entire case. The court has fixed August 5 as the date for pronouncing the sentence.
