Jagdalpur, 1 August (HS). Tirathgarh waterfall located in Kanger Valley has been reopened for tourists. It was closed from July 1 due to the dangers caused by heavy rains and safety reasons for tourists. Kanger Valley management has lifted the ban on entry with strict security arrangements on the demand of local businessmen and tourists after the rain water receded. Kanger Valley management has again opened Tirathgarh waterfall for tourists from today, Thursday. Currently, tourists can go up to the first stop of the waterfall. Currently, going to the Shiva temple and the area below the waterfall and bathing there is prohibited. The management has currently closed the paths going down to the waterfall by putting barricades with red ribbon. Along with this, tourists have been requested to follow the given instructions and take care of their safety.

Director of Kanger Valley National Park, Chudamani Singh said that in view of the increased water level in the Tirathgarh waterfall, the entry of tourists was restricted keeping in mind public safety. Now after the rains have stopped and the water level has decreased, the waterfall has been opened for tourists with safety arrangements.
