Ranchi, August 1 (HS). Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a high-level meeting with senior officials on Thursday regarding the ongoing appointment processes for other posts including the Assistant Professor Appointment Competitive Examination. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the state government will file a petition in the Supreme Court to lift the ban on the publication of the results of the Assistant Professor Competitive Examination.
Chief Secretary Elkhiangte, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Chairman of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Prashant Kumar and Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department Umashankar Singh were present in this meeting. In the meeting, the Chief Minister took complete information from the Chairman of JSSC and Education Secretary regarding the ongoing recruitment process for 26 thousand posts of Assistant Professor. The Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department informed the Chief Minister that the Supreme Court has only banned the publication of the result of Assistant Professor. There is no ban of any kind on the conduct of the examination. He told the Chief Minister that a petition will be filed in the Supreme Court against the ban on the publication of the result of Assistant Professor.
All competitive exams will be held on time
Prashant Kumar of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission said in the meeting that all the competitive examinations to be held for various posts will be held as per their pre-determined dates. In such a situation, there should not be any kind of confusion among the candidates of various competitive examinations. He said that the commission has already announced the dates for conducting various competitive examinations. In such a situation, preparations related to the conduct of various competitive examinations are being completed as per the pre-determined dates.
