Maharashtra BJP: Preparations for the assembly elections in Maharashtra are in full swing. Meanwhile, speculations are being made that the Bharatiya Janata Party is afraid of a big loss in the state. However, nothing has been said officially about this. BJP's seats also decreased in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, there is also speculation that the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) is not happy with Ajit Pawar's alliance with the BJP.
According to the information received, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is confident of returning to power with the help of BJP. However, according to a report, BJP is worried about its performance. According to reports, internal surveys conducted by BJP indicate that the party will be able to win only 55 to 65 seats out of 288 assembly seats. However, this figure was 122 in 2014 and 105 in 2019.
On the other hand, the Nationalist Congress Party is also losing ground in the Mahayuti. Recently, many leaders including Pimpri Chinchwad president Ajit Gavhane said goodbye to NCP.
Ignore RSS
According to reports, RSS is not in favour of alliance between BJP and Ajit Pawar. Earlier also, the organizer had given credit to Ajit Pawar for the strong performance of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Recently, a similar thing was said in a Marathi magazine. RSS believes that the decision of alliance with Ajit Pawar has damaged the image of BJP.
There are also reports that some RSS and BJP workers are also feeling isolated and are refusing to work. According to reports, they have sent a message to the BJP that it should end its alliance with Ajit Pawar's party NCP.
Uddhav Thackeray is challenging BJP
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) chief had announced on Wednesday that either I or Deputy CM Devendra will survive in politics. Thackeray has also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party leader of conspiring to send him and his son to jail. He has also challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to Maharashtra and campaign for BJP in the assembly elections.
