Ingredients for making Tuvar Dal
- 1 bowl tuvar dal
- 1 medium sized onion chopped
- 1 medium sized tomato
- 2-2 pieces modified green chillies
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- Half teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 bowl of curd
- Half teaspoon turmeric powder
- red chilli powder
- Pa Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Chat Masala

To make Tuvar Dal, add water in the cooker and cook the dal. – Now heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds and mustard seeds in it. – Now add asafoetida to it, so that the dal gets the taste of asafoetida. – Now add garlic, finely chopped onion, tomato and green chillies and fry it well. All these things will make the dal taste even more delicious.
Use curd like this
To make the dal more delicious, you can also mix beaten curd in the dal. Curd will add sourness to the dal and the dal will also taste delicious. Apart from this, add spices like turmeric powder, red chili powder along with garam masala. You can also add bay leaves. When all these spices are roasted well, put the cooked dal in the cooker and add some water and boil it well. – Now take it out in a vessel and sprinkle green coriander on top.
