Several police officers including Deputy Commissioner of Police were removed in the case of misbehavior with a woman in Barsaat

Lucknow, 01 August (HS). In the case of misbehavior with a woman riding a motorcycle in rain water on Taj Hotel Road in Gomti Nagar, Deputy Commissioner of Police East Prabal Pratap Singh, Eastern Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Kumawat and many other police officers have been transferred. Inspector in charge of Gomti Nagar police station, in charge of local outpost, sub-inspectors and policemen have also been suspended for negligence on the spot on the day of the incident.

To improve the deteriorating image of the police due to the ruckus in the rain water in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow Police Commissioner issued an order and transferred the police officers. In this, Deputy Commissioner of Police East Prabal Pratap Singh has been made Deputy Commissioner of Police 112, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police East Amit Kumawat has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Headquarters, Southern Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashank Singh has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police East.

Apart from this, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police High Court Kripashankar has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Headquarters Raghavendra has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police High Court, Assistant Police Commissioner Ghazipur Vikas Jaiswal has been made Assistant Police Commissioner Gomtinagar and Assistant Police Commissioner Gomtinagar Anshu Jain has been made Assistant Police Commissioner Women Crime.

Four people have already been arrested in the case of misbehavior with a woman. Teams have been activated to identify other rioters. Police officials were being called continuously to save the people identified in the case, meanwhile those officials of the police department have also been removed. Gomti Nagar Police has identified ten rioters, out of which four people have been arrested.
