Residents of the area are happy with the Rajya Sabha MP's demand to run the train

Hamirpur, July 31 (HS). Rajya Sabha member Baburam Nishad demanded in Rajya Sabha to run a superfast train from Manikpur to Delhi via Kanpur, due to which the people of the area have expressed happiness.

Rajya Sabha member Baburam Nishad has raised the issue before the Chairman in Rajya Sabha and has demanded that a superfast train should be run daily from Kanpur Central to Delhi via Manikpur Junction, Banda Khairar Junction, Bharua Sumerpur, Hamirpur Road, Ghatampur. Because since independence till date no direct train has been run from this route to Delhi. Whereas in the middle of this route there is a famous religious place Kamtanath in the country and abroad, where lakhs of people visit.

The Rajya Sabha member told the Speaker of the House that the Railway Minister should solve this problem. This will provide the benefit of rail facility to Hamirpur, a very backward district of Bundelkhand and pave the way for development. The people of the town appreciated this issue of the Rajya Sabha member and said that this step of the MP is commendable.
