First Sleeper Vande Bharat Train: The first sleeper Vande Bharat train of the railway division will run from Bareilly to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. The railways is preparing its route.

The route can be changed depending on time and other reasons. The distance from Bareilly to Mumbai is approximately 1600 km.

Some other divisions are also planning to run long-distance sleeper Vande Bharat trains from their areas.
Moradabad Division
There are only tunnels in the 213 km stretch from Rishikesh to Karnaprayag. Out of these, tunnels have been built up to 171 km. Out of this, 155 km is in Moradabad division.
Char Dham Yatra
The longest 15 kilometer tunnel is also near Moradabad division. The Railway Minister said that by the end of 2026, people will be able to travel to Char Dham by train.
Glass ceiling
According to the Railway Minister, a train with glass roof Vistadome coach will be run on this route. Passengers will be able to enjoy the views of the mountains.
35 Vande Bharat trains
Currently, 35 Vande Bharat trains are running from 24 states of the country, passing through 100 rail routes and reaching 284 districts. Five of these trains pass through various cities of Uttar Pradesh like Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.
Vande Bharat Metro
Railways has announced to run more than 100 Vande Bharat Metro trains, which will run at a speed of 100 to 130 kilometers per hour. These trains will run between cities at a distance of 100 to 250 kilometers.
