Hisar, July 31 (HS). Himanshu of Kirmara village has brought laurels to his village and parents by winning a bronze medal in the ninth Haryana State Shooting Championship. This championship was held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi in which players from almost all districts of Haryana participated in the junior category.
In this championship, Himanshu performed excellently in 50 meter rifle shooting and won the bronze medal. Himanshu gave the credit of this achievement to his coach Karan Singh and parents. There is an atmosphere of happiness in his family and village. Shooting coach Karan Singh, DPE Bhateri Devi, Ramswaroop Verma, Ravi Saini, Omprakash Verma congratulated Himanshu on his commendable performance and wished him a bright future. Himanshu's father Devendra Singh is working as ASI in Kulan Chowki of Fatehabad district. He told that Himanshu will participate in the National Shooting Championship to be held in November and has started preparing for it. Earlier, Himanshu had also qualified for the National Championship held in Bhopal.
