Palamu, July 31 (HS). A program was organized in Palamu Collectorate premises on Wednesday to distribute assets among the selected beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme. On the occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner of the district Shabbir Ahmed and District Welfare Officer Sevaram Sahu distributed assets among the beneficiaries. During this, both the officials also handed over the keys of various vehicles to the beneficiaries.
In this program, grant-based loan of Rs 1,27,06,556 was made available to 10 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Rojgar Srijan Yojana. Among these, Rahul Kumar of Tarhasi was given a Bolero worth Rs 1300915 and Neha Kumari of Tarhasi was given a Bolero worth Rs 1255703. Similarly, Vikas Kumar Soni was given a Sonalika tractor worth Rs 13 lakh. Ashish Kumar, Govind Kumar Mehta, Ajay Kumar and Ranjeet Singh were given the keys of Scorpio.
Sanjay Kumar Singh of Satbarwa was given a loan of 10 lakhs to start a tent house business. Kanhai Thakur of Hariharganj was given a loan of 15 lakhs to start a hardware business. Avinash Kumar of Haidernagar was provided a loan of 50 thousand rupees to start a general store business.
