Kishanganj, 31 July (HS). As per the instructions of District Magistrate Tushar Singla, a loan distribution camp was organized in the Kanakayi Auditorium of DRDA under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Sparsh Gupta for distribution of loans among the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram, Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Enterprise Upgradation Scheme and PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
In the program, the Deputy Development Commissioner was welcomed by the GM, District Industry Center by giving a flower bouquet. Thereafter, the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the DDC. In this program, loans of about 65 lakh rupees were distributed to 15 beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program and loans of 25 lakh rupees were distributed to 5 beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Micro Food Enterprise Upgradation Scheme.
Loan of ₹8 lakh was distributed to 8 beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram is a flagship credit-linked subsidy programme aimed at assisting traditional artisans and unemployed youth in rural and urban areas and generating self-employment opportunities through setting up of micro enterprises in the non-farm sector. Pradhan Mantri Sukshma Khadya Udyam Upgradation Scheme aims to enhance the competitiveness of existing single micro enterprises in the unorganised sector of food processing industry and promote formalisation of this sector and support Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Producer Cooperatives along their entire value chain.
The program was conducted by Anil Kumar Ratna, Industry Expansion Officer. Deputy Development Commissioner, General Manager District Industry Center Anil Kumar Mandal, Assistant Industry Director Atul Kumar along with bank employees and beneficiaries of the scheme were present in the program.
