Rashid Khan: Afghanistan all-rounder and T20 captain Rashid Khan has achieved 600 wickets in T20 cricket. The Afghan spinner, popularly known as Rashid 'Kamal' Khan, became the second bowler to achieve this feat. Playing for Trent Rockets, Rashid achieved this feat by dismissing Paul Walter of Manchester Originals in The Hundred Men's Competition 2024.
Before Rashid Khan, this record was in the name of West Indies' Dwayne Bravo. Dwayne Bravo has 630 wickets in 578 T20 matches. Rashid Khan has reached 600 wickets in the 441st T20 match. The only two other bowlers to take 500 or more wickets in T20 cricket are Sunil Narine (557) and Imran Tahir (502). Rashid has become the youngest and fastest bowler to achieve this feat.
