Directors of five national institutes visited SMVDU

Jammu, July 30 (HS). Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, SMVD University recently hosted a prestigious gathering of Directors of five prestigious national institutes. The event, held at the SMVD University campus, was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Pragati Kumar. Several distinguished guests attended the event including Prof. N.P., Director, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur), Prof. Karunesh Kumar Shukla, Director, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (MANIT Bhopal), Prof. Mahesh Chandra Govil, Director, National Institute of Technology Sikkim (NIT Sikkim), Prof. Virendra Kumar Paul, Director, School of Planning and Architecture New Delhi (SPA New Delhi) and Prof. SR Mahadev Prasanna, Director, Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad (IIIT Dharwad).

The meeting focused on promoting mutual academic collaboration between SMVD University and the visiting institutions. The discussions covered various aspects of collaboration including research partnerships, student exchange programmes and joint academic initiatives. The visiting Directors expressed their appreciation for the excellent infrastructure and conducive academic environment of SMVD University. The event was an important step towards strengthening inter-institutional relations and enhancing the quality of education and research through collaborative efforts.
