Murshidabad, July 30 (HS). Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir, who is often in the news for his controversial statements, on Tuesday threatened to beat up and break the legs of Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs. After this controversial statement of the Trinamool MLA, the politics of West Bengal has heated up.
In fact, recently two BJP MLAs, Subrata Maiti and Gauri Shankar Ghosh had demanded to make Bengal a union territory by combining some districts. Behind this, they had given the argument of protecting the existence of Hindus.
Humayun Kabir was enraged at this demand of the BJP MLAs and without naming them, he threatened to beat up these two BJP leaders and break their legs.
Humayun Kabir alleged that these MLAs are destroying the democracy of the country. They are destroying harmony. Therefore, they should not be spared. Humayun said that after getting 20 percent votes, if anyone threatens us, I will also threaten them. I will beat them and break their legs. Do whatever you want to do.
The Trinamool MLA said, “I am saying openly that if both the MLAs do not show restraint, if the dam of patience breaks, I will bury them in a pit.” If someone speaks disorderly things to destroy the culture of India, writes a wrong letter to the Home Minister, then I will surround him with two lakh people. I will not let him go anywhere in Murshidabad.
