Haridwar, July 30 (HS). The coffee table book The Eternal Lord Great Shiva Temples of Uttarakhand, prepared by Haridwar District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, was jointly released by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Acharya Bal Krishna, singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi, Akhada Parishad President Ravindrapuri Maharaj. This book dedicated to Lord Shiva was released among thousands of Kawadis present at the Bhajan Sandhya organized at Om Ghat late on Tuesday evening. This book is inspired by Sadashiv, the greatest form of Lord Shiva.
The book contains a detailed description of the important Shiva temples located in the Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand. Apart from the popular temples, unique information has also been provided about many such Shiva temples located in remote areas of the state, about which the general public does not have much information. This type of coffee table book has been published for the first time in the state.
