Haridwar, July 29 (HS). During the Kanwad fair, daily treatment of Shiva devotee Kanwariyas and travelers is being done through permanent hospitals as well as temporary medical camps. Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manish Dutt along with Sector Incharge Dr. Naresh Chaudhary inspected the temporary medical camps of urban area Haridwar, Shankaracharya Chowk, Bairagi Camp, Chandi Chowk, Chandi Ghat, Pantdeep, Bat Tapu, Rodi Belwala, Mansa Devi Madhya Marg, Har Ki Pauri and took feedback by knowing the well-being of the Shiva devotee Kanwariyas undergoing treatment there.
The Chief Medical Officer also encouraged the doctors, Red Cross volunteers and paramedical staff providing medical services in the medical camps. He directed Dr. Naresh Chaudhary, the sector in-charge of medical camps in the urban area of Haridwar, that the doctors, staff and volunteers providing services in the medical camps should not face any problems. If they face any problems, they should be resolved immediately and the supply of essential medicines should also be done on time.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manish Dutt said that performing one's duties in the Kanwad fair is also a true human service, the virtue of which is definitely received by the person doing the service directly or indirectly. It is the biggest social service of life.
Sector in-charge Dr Naresh Chaudhry informed that under the direction of District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal and on special initiative, Indian Red Cross is providing special dedicated support to doctors and staff in all medical camps.
During the inspection, city health officer Dr. Tarun, sector in-charge Dr. Naresh Chaudhary, Dr. Hemant, VK Gupta, management in-charge Avneesh Kumar were present.
