Sensex rose sharply, Nifty also jumped sharply, investors suffered losses in the stock market

Sensex Nifty 50 All Time High: The week has started with a great uptrend in the stock market. Sensex and Nifty are trading at an all-time high. Sensex rose 467.45 points to 81800.17 and Nifty reached an all-time high of 24980.45, close to 25000.

Out of the total 30 stocks in the Sensex pack, 17 were trading in the green zone and 13 in the red zone. Volumes in the stock market have increased today as buying increased after heavy profit booking in banking and PSU stocks last week. Out of the 3954 Sensex stocks, 2540 were trading higher and 1247 were trading lower. At the time of writing today, 346 stocks hit year's high and 17 stocks hit year's low, while 387 stocks hit upper circuit and 170 stocks hit lower circuit.

Market cap crosses Rs 460.50 lakh crore for the first time

BSE's market cap today reached the highest level of Rs 460.50 lakh crore for the first time with universal growth. Investors' capital has increased by 4 lakh crores today. In sectoral indices, Bankex is trading up 1.50 percent, Smallcap 1.40 percent, PSU 1.64 percent, Realty 1.81 percent, Oil and Gas 1.41 percent. On the other hand, due to profit booking, consumer durables, FMCG, healthcare, technology, IT stocks have seen a decline.

Positive factors at domestic and global level as well as strong quarterly results of companies are indicating a rise in the stock market. Last week, profit booking was seen in the stock market after the increase in LTCG, STCG and STT. But due to the clarification given by the Finance Minister and experts, investors have again become active in the market.
