New rules from August 1, 2024: every Some changes happen on the first date of the month. Here we are telling you about the changes which are going to be implemented from August 1, 2024. These changes are going to affect your pocket. There will be a change in the price of LPG gas cylinder on August 1. HDFC credit card charges are also going to change. The price of gas cylinders is fixed on the first of every month. The price of commercial and domestic gas cylinders is fixed on 1 August. Last month, the government had reduced the price of commercial gas cylinders. This time too, it is expected that the government will fix the price of gas cylinders.

Customers using CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik, Freecharge and other such services to pay for fare will be charged 1% on the transaction amount, capped at ₹3000 per transaction. Fuel transactions below ₹15,000 per transaction will not attract any additional charges. However, transactions above ₹15,000 will attract 1% on the entire amount, capped at ₹3,000 per transaction.

No additional charges will be levied on transactions below ₹50,000. Transactions above ₹50,000 will be charged 1% on the entire amount, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. Transactions made through third party apps like CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik and others will be charged 1%, limited to ₹3000 per transaction.

The late payment processing fee has been increased from ₹100 to ₹1,300 depending on the outstanding amount. An EMI processing fee of up to ₹299 will be charged at any online or offline store for availing the Easy-EMI option. HDFC Bank will implement the changes in its Tata New Infinity and Tata New Plus credit cards from August 1, 2024.

From August 2024, Tata New Infinity HDFC Bank credit card users will get 1.5% NewCoin on eligible UPI transactions using Tata New UPI ID. Google Maps has made important changes to its rules in India, which will be implemented across the country from August 1, 2024.

The company has reduced the charges for its services in India by up to 70 percent. Along with this, Google Maps will now charge for its services in Indian rupees instead of dollars. However, this change will not affect the common users as no additional charges have been levied on them.

The month of August is about to come. In the year 2024, banks will remain closed for 13 days. These include all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. In the month of August, banks will remain closed for six days due to weekends. Apart from this, there will be a seven-day holiday due to various festivals. Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August, Rakhi on 19 August and Janmashtami on 26 August.
