Nowadays, Chole-Kulcha has also taken its place in the street food of Ahmedabad. Many Ahmedabadis are opting for Chole-Kulcha for lunch. Here we will tell you the recipe of making Kulcha at home like the Maltha Kulcha of the market today.
Ingredients for making Kulcha
- 2 cups flour,
- 1/2 cup curd,
- 1 teaspoon sugar,
- 1/2 tsp baking soda,
- 2-3 tbsp oil,
- black mole,
- Coriander,
- Water
How to make Kulcha
Phase 1
Add flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, 2-3 tbsp oil and curd in a bowl and mix well.
Step- 2
Now add water as required and knead the dough, apply some oil and keep it aside to set for 1 hour.
Step- 3 –
Now make a dough ball and wrap it in dry fenugreek flour and roll it into a round kulcha.
Step 4
Garnish the Kulcha with some black sesame seeds and coriander leaves and roll it again.
Step-5 –
Now place the Kulcha on an iron pan and roast it on both sides until it turns brown. – Now apply some butter on the Kulcha and serve.
