Bhopal, 27 July (HS). Senior BJP leader and former MP Raghunandan Sharma said that when a matter comes out from within, I cannot stop myself. I want to say that the powers of the Waqf Board should be limited. A bill should be brought in the assembly to make it a board with limited powers. There is a circular of the state government, which was issued after the BJP government came to power. Wherever there is a grave, a tomb or a minority community has some share, that land area number will be recorded in the revenue records. This needs to be stopped.
Raghunandan Sharma said this in his address while presiding over the symposium organized by Hindustan Samachar and Dharm Sanskriti Samiti on land encroachment and uniform civil code in the capital Bhopal on Saturday. Giving the example of a mazaar built in a field in Mandsaur district, he said that on complaining to the collector in this matter, he was told that the mazaar will be built only in the measurement of the mazaar area. Apart from this, no land will be for the mazaar. The collector also demonstrated this by doing it. Now there are no such collectors. Sharma also expressed the need to dissolve many boards associated with Muslim organizations.
The Ganga of patriotism can never dry up
Sharma said that in 1948, an attempt was made to stop the flow of the Ganga of patriotism on the pretext of Mahatma Gandhi's assassination, but the Ganga of patriotism can never dry up. It flows continuously. Laws keep changing, but patriotism never changes. Devotion towards mother never changes. Mother is mother and son remains son. The devotion of Indians towards Mother India can never end.
Former MP Sharma, while referring to the Hindu-Muslim population, said that a conspiracy took place in the name of family planning in which first it was said 'Hum Do Hamare Do' and then we came down to one. Instead of increasing two to three, the Hindu population was reduced by one. If you want to see an example of this, go to Kashmir and see. This conspiracy has been going on since independence. Now the second conspiracy is being hatched in the name of 'the more the number, the more the share'. Those who want to destroy Sanatan are hatching this conspiracy. Sharma said that if Sanatan Dharma has to be saved, then every family must have Ram, Laxman, Bharat, Shatrughna.
The keynote speaker of the program was senior Supreme Court advocate and constitutional expert (PIL Man of India) Ashwini Upadhyay, while MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani was present as the chief guest and State Child Protection Commission member Dr. Nivedita Sharma was present as the special guest.
