B-1 exam conducted for promotion of range police personnel

Hisar, 27 July (HS). Online B-1 examination for promotion from constable to head constable was organized in Hisar range. This examination held in Deendayal Upadhyay Computer Lab of Guru Jambheshwar University was inspected by ADGP and other officers.

527 police personnel from all the six districts of Hisar range were eligible for this examination, out of which 523 police personnel appeared in this examination. During this examination held on Saturday, ADGP checked the examination center. To conduct the examination in a fair and transparent manner, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of ADGP Dr. M. Ravi Kiran. Bhiwani Superintendent of Police Varun Singla and Hisar Superintendent of Police Deepak Saharan are its members in this committee.

On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police Dr. M. Ravi Kiran said that B-1 exam is the first step of promotion in police. Every police employee has the passion to move ahead and get promoted. This is the first step of promotion which makes the dream of becoming a police officer come true. Candidates who pass this exam will then be given physical and parade test. After getting selected in B-1 exam, they are sent to police training colleges for a course of 4/6 months, where they are taught about ethical values, discipline and the nuances of research. 523 police employees participated in this promotion exam. Out of these participants, 132 were from district Hisar, 120 from police district Hansi, 100 from district Jind, 86 from district Fatehabad, 70 from district Sirsa and 15 from police district Dabwali. To conduct this exam in a systematic manner, a mock test was also organized on 21st and 22nd July. One Deputy Superintendent of Police from each district of the range arrived as Nodal Officer along with his team to conduct this examination.
