Ramgarh, 27 July (HS). Students Legal Literacy Club has been started in Viva International School of the district. As per the instructions of Jhalasa, the club was started on Saturday under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman Alok Kumar Dubey under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority. The main objective of this club is to empower the students with legal knowledge and make them aware of their legal rights and duties.
Principal District and Sessions Judge Alok Kumar Dubey, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Anil Kumar and Registrar of Civil Court Ramgarh Harshit Tiwari also graced the program. Anil Kumar, in his address, underlined the importance of legal literacy and said that legal literacy is not only a means of knowledge, but it is also an important tool for establishing justice and equality in the society.

Chief Guest Principal District and Sessions Judge Alok Kumar Dubey told the children about the importance of proper use of time and time management in life. During this program, students were informed about the objectives and upcoming activities of the Legal Literacy Club. Club members have been selected from various classes of the school, who will regularly organize legal literacy camps, workshops, and discussions. On this occasion, painting competition, essay writing and debate competitions were also organized for the students. The winners in these competitions were awarded by the Chief District and Sessions Judge. Participation certificates were provided to all the participants.
PLVV Vijay Kumar Singh and teachers like Umesh Kumar Gupta, Praveen Kumar, Shikha Singh, Bal Bhushan Mishra, Chandrika Prasad, Madhu Oraon, Murtuja Ali, Somesh Kumar, Rahul Kushwaha etc. helped in making the program successful.
