Araria 27 July (HS). The contractual NHM employees of Bihar's health department are continuously staging indefinite strikes and demonstrations in health institutions over their demands. In this series, RJD's business cell's state general secretary Engineer Ayush Agarwal participated in the demonstration program of NHM employees at Forbesganj PHC on Saturday and extended moral support to their demands.
On the occasion, RJD leader Ayush Agrawal said that the Bihar government has stopped thinking about the people who work day and night in the field. The demands include not getting salary for the last five months and the huge difference in salary between the people working on permanent and contract basis, which is very sad. If the work is the same then why is there a difference in salary. Regarding the demands, Mr. Agrawal said that the matter is being sent to the party level and he stands strongly with the people fighting for their rights.
