Korba, 27 July (HS). A murder incident has come to light in the Transport Nagar area under the district's Kotwali police station. Sensation has spread after the body of a young man was found in a Sulabh toilet. The incident is said to have taken place late Friday night.
The body of Pramod Singh, who worked as a caretaker at the Sulabh toilet, has been found. There are injury marks on the head of the deceased, for which it is being said that he was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon. Fellow workers who arrived at the incident after being informed about it said that the deceased had returned from his home in Bihar a few days back and was working at Sulabh for the last 10 days. Today, on Saturday morning, he was not opening the main gate for quite some time, about which the police was informed. When the police broke the door and entered, the body of the deceased was found lying in the room soaked in blood. The police have sealed the room and have also called the forensic team to the spot.
CSP City Kotwali, Bhushan Ekka said that the police is also examining the CCTV footage installed nearby. The police is investigating all aspects of the murder.
