Another problem after heavy rain
After heavy rains, a ground plus three storey building suddenly collapsed in Shahbaz area of Navi Mumbai. Two people are feared trapped under the building collapse. A total of 24 families lived in the building. Two people are buried under the debris. Police, fire brigade and NDRF are present at the spot. Rescue operation is underway. JCB has also been called on the spot and the debris is being removed.
A few days ago, a part of the balcony of the building had collapsed.
Let us tell you that last week a woman was killed and four others were injured when a part of the balcony of a building collapsed in Grant Road area of Mumbai. The incident took place at 11 am in Rubinisa Manzil, a four-storey building near Grant Road railway station. According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, a part of the balcony and slab of the second and third floor had collapsed first and some parts were hanging.
