Hisar, 26 July (HS). On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a Tiranga Yatra was jointly taken out by Nehru Yuva Kendra Hisar and Azad Hind Yuva Club in the nearby village Kirtan. The Tiranga Yatra started from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Yoga Academy and reached Chandrashekhar Azad Park.
Major Subedar Satbir Dhaka, the guest present on the occasion, shared his experiences with the villagers on Friday. He told that when he was on the front in the Kargil war, the enemy was sitting at a very high altitude. If you drop an object of 100 grams from there, it becomes so heavy after coming down. We had decided that we will not spare the enemy. Finally we achieved that goal. He said that the martyrdom of the martyrs should always be remembered. Therefore, events should be organized in the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
On this occasion, social worker Ravindra Arya said that our soldiers are standing firm on every front for the honor and pride of the country. It is because of the immortal martyrs that we are breathing the air of freedom today. The coming generation should always be made aware of the struggle for the freedom of the country. He said that we must install the statue of the martyr in the village so that the coming generation knows that it is because of these heroes that we are breathing the air of freedom.
