Due to this movement, bus services will remain closed in Punjab today. Passengers traveling by buses will find it very difficult to get bus service today as government and private buses will remain almost closed. Along with this, 4 trains of Firozpur division were cancelled, 7 were short terminated, timing of 5 was changed and route of 12 was changed. Emergency services like ambulance etc. have been exempted by farmer organizations. Apart from this, a person going for medical emergency will not be stopped.
Students going to take the examination will not be stopped. No restrictions will be imposed on the person attending the marriage ceremony. Farmer organizations have also made it clear that if a passenger is traveling by air or train, he can exit by showing his ticket.
Let us tell you that a demand was also made for the third round of talks between farmer leaders and Union Ministers in Chandigarh on Thursday. The meeting lasted from eight o'clock in the night till around 1.30 in the morning. The government proposed to form a committee to make a law on MSP, which would have representatives from both farmers and the government. Farmer leaders remained adamant on MSP guarantee, after which farmers have called for Bharat Bandh today.
